Who thought eating/drinking out of bathroom accessories would be a thing? This cafe originally started in Japan, a second in Russia and now a third in Toronto.
If you can get your mind past eating ice cream out of a toilet and water out of urinals, this cafe is really great and unique.
The cafe’s walls are black chalkboard covered with faq’s and quirky quotes/drawings. The chairs are real toilet seats.
We got a traditional Bingsu Salted Caramel flavour which comes with Milky Shaved Ice, Salted Caramel Sauce, Corn Flakes, Salted Caramel Popcorn, Whipped Cream and Gelato in a toilet. This dessert was so delicious, all the flavours went really well with each other. They did not put in corn flakes or whipped cream, in replacement we got honey graham bear cookies and no whip.
Secondly we got a Chocolate Chip Cookie Milkshake and upgraded it to Holy $hit! because why not? Go big or go home right?
This milkshake on it’s own comes with chocolate shake, chocolate frosted rim with cookie crumble. Added; blue & pink cotton candy, oreo cookies, marshallow stick, marshmallow covered with melted marshmallow and coloured cereal, m&m covered pretzel heart, blue chocolate covered pretzel, sour sugar sticks, a donut and chocolate chip cookies stuck on the rim.
The milkshake alone is good to share with 2 maybe even 3 people. We obviously ordered way too much.
Don’t expect too much in terms of service, there are a lot of workers who work there though. It seems they are still trying to get sorted, their website doesn’t have anything on it except for links to their facebook page/reviews.
I noticed a lot of people are intrigued by the place from outside but then realize the concept and keep walking. Don’t be afraid, be open minded and try something new!
