To Be Canadian, Eat Poutineville

Where can you have the option to make Poutine 5000 different ways? Poutineville! (http://poutineville.com/) Pretty fantastic I know.

They employ 2 workers to crush potatoes by hand all day since they don’t have a machine and they are the house special.

Poutine is a very Canadian tradition, Poutineville started out in Montreal and before arriving in my sweet home Toronto. The menu is pretty overwhelming with the option to make your own or they have specialties to choose from. They also do salads, burgers, sandwiches and platters. But really, why would you order any of that if you’re going to go to a place like Poutineville.

Both my friend and I went for creating our own Poutines.

Her personal poutine consisted of crushed potatoes, fresh curds, mozzarella, swiss, cheddar and feta cheese, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, pogo and poutine sauce.

We loved our poutines. The potatoes did not go soggy which was great and the dishes tasted delicious. Everything we chose complimented each other.

Our waiter seemed to really enjoy listening to peoples choices and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The service started to lack a little when more people came into the restaurant.
