Spoil Yourself With An Ice Cream Sandwich

Ever since Cool Hand Luc has closed on King St, there has been a lack of local ice cream. I love Bang Bang Ice Cream but it’s not very close and convenient like Cool Hand Luc was to me.

Zoe’s Cafe on King Street now sells ice cream sammies made by Sweet Flour Bake Shop (http://www.sweetflour.ca/) which really excites me.

I purchased my very first double chocolate cookies with mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Needless to say, it was superb. I loved that the cookie did not crumble much and for the most part, the sandwich stayed in tact. It was easy to eat and did not create much of a mess.

It’s a great treat especially on a hot day like today!
