Our waitress was great at her job, she was very knowledgeable regarding the wine list and easily recommended her favourite dishes. She swapped the cutlery after the appetizers and for the dessert. She was very attentive and easily remembered our order without writing anything down.
The guacamole and tortilla chips were delicious and fresh, there was just a little too much cilantro for my liking.
The crostini was my favourite part about this dish and they provided more as per our request free of charge.
The beef was tender exploding with flavour. The creamed corn was deliciously sweet. I loved the prawn hushpuppies, I thought they were really unique and tasted great. The onion rings were homemade and not greasy.
The Harbord Room is known for their burgers. It was super tender and juicy with great flavour. The fries were hand cut, delicious and not over salted.
Thinking the pasta wouldn’t taste so good with the mint, I was wrong it was delicious.
The cake was underwhelming but photographed beautifully.
The doughnuts were the hit for dessert. The ricotta taste was very minimal and the chocolate was perfect for sweetness. The cocoa nib wafer reminded me of meringues.
This restaurant is a great neighbourhood spot and perfect for a date.
